I find inspiration in victorian ephemera, art nouveau and art deco, and the fantastical worlds of science fiction such as those portrayed by H.G. Wells and Jules Verne.

~Steampunk "Momento Mori" Oval Locket Ring~

This is an ornate brass ring adorned with an ornate brass locket which is further adorned with a silver tone skull and crossbones charm on top. Inside the locket base is a pewter detailed full skeleton. The skeleton is pewter and fits snugly as if in a coffin! There is enough room on the open side of the locket for you to add your own epitah if you wanted to! Here lies the body of...! The ring base is solid and ornate. This is my tribute to the dead. I personally collect postmortem rings and other jewelry, as well as post mortem photography. This is my personal crafting take on these types of items! The ring is unisex and adjustable and comes gift-boxed, making it an excellent present. Nothing like this exists and I believe I am the first to make such a design!
